About Montessori at Jofad

Montessori is built on a simple truth: children are born with a deep, natural drive to learn. At Jofad, we don't pour information into children — we create beautiful, carefully prepared environments where each child chooses their own work, follows their curiosity, and learns at their own pace.

Our guides (what we call our teachers) observe each child closely. They step in with just enough support to open a door — and then step back, letting the child walk through it on their own. There are no tests, no pressure, no comparison with other children. Just the real, lasting satisfaction of figuring something out for yourself.

Children who learn this way don't just acquire knowledge — they develop genuine confidence, independence, and a love for learning that stays with them for life. That's the Montessori we believe in at Jofad.

Beyond core subjects, our children take part in an apprenticeship programme — real-world exposure to skills, professions and creative industries. Whether it's farming, design, baking, storytelling or mechanics, we help children explore different paths and passions early, preparing them to thrive in their own unique way. Our small class sizes, hands-on approach and nature-rich spaces give children more than academics — they gain confidence, life skills and a sense of direction. Assessment is observational and personalised, using progress reports and self-reflection rather than standardised grades. We honour each child's unique path.

Admissions

Jofad currently accepts children from birth through 9 years old across three active programmes: Infant & Toddler (0–3), Kindergarten (3–6), and Lower Elementary (6–9). Our Upper Elementary programme (9–12) is coming soon. If you're unsure which programme is the right fit for your child, book a visit and we'll guide you.

Start by booking a visit — it's the best way to experience Jofad firsthand and meet the team. You can also call us at 0728 176 844 or message us on WhatsApp.

We currently have spaces available for August and September 2026. We accept rolling admissions throughout the year where spaces allow. We encourage families to enquire early — our classes are small by design, and spaces fill up quickly once tours begin.

Download our Registration Requirements document for the full list of what you'll need to enrol your child.

Inclusivity & Special Needs

Absolutely — and we warmly welcome them. We serve neurodivergent students across all age groups — including those with ADHD, ASD and dyslexia — through a flexible, sensory-informed Montessori model. Our setting is calm and nature-integrated, offering space for sensory regulation, creativity and expression. Learning is paced and personalised. We collaborate with therapists for occupational and speech sessions, and we work closely with parents to create a supportive and empowered journey for every child. We believe all children thrive in environments that feel normal, natural and deeply human.
